Privacy Policy

Sokaizen (“we”, “us”) is a personal daily journaling web app at sokaizen.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account info. When you sign in (Google, Facebook, X, GitHub, GitLab, Discord, or email), we receive a unique identifier and basic profile details — typically your name and email address — from that provider to create and identify your account.
- Your content. The posts, day grades, comments, and profile details you create in the app.
How we use it
We use this data only to operate Sokaizen: to authenticate you, store and display your own entries, and provide the app’s features. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers below that we rely on to run the service.
Who we share it with
We store data with Supabase (database and authentication) and host the app on Vercel. Sign-in is handled by the provider you choose or Supabase email codes. These providers process data on our behalf to keep the service running.
What we do not do
For social logins, we only read basic profile information needed to sign you in. We do not read, post, or analyze your content on those platforms, and we take no action on your behalf.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your entries at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
